About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Anchor Hanover. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their dining experience is enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager and other kitchen staff to achieve our catering goals.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their dietary needs and preferences.
Requirements
- Level 2 food safety certificate or equivalent.
- Experience in a catering or food service environment, with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
