Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Casual Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers, as well as collecting multiple containers from port for delivery to distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver goods to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers
  • Collect multiple containers from port for delivery to distribution centers
  • Manage customer expectations and communicate with the transport team
  • Attend regular training sessions
Requirements
  • UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites (advantageous)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Good geographical knowledge
