About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Casual Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution Careers. As a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers, as well as collecting multiple containers from port for delivery to distribution centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering goods to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers
  • Collecting multiple containers from port for delivery to distribution centres
  • Managing customer expectations and keeping in regular contact with the transport team
  • Attending regular training sessions

Requirements:

  • UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Working to deadlines
  • Confident, polite and a team player
  • Good geographical knowledge
