Senior Process Engineer

Are you a skilled Chemical Engineer looking for a challenging role in a globally leading Chemical company? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team in the Blackpool area.
This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of between £58,000 - £70,000 per annum, supported by a fantastic benefits package including a discretionary annual bonus, 14% employer pension contribution, share save scheme, and flexible working opportunities.
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be part of a world-class team responsible for delivering transformational and sustainable solutions to global material obstacles. You will work across various industries, including Automotive, Aviation, Medical, and Electronics, creating smarter and more sustainable manufacturing solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expertise to production plants and developing and implementing Capital and continuous improvement projects.
- Leading the design for capital projects, including optioneering, equipment specification, and detailed design.
- Creating, checking, and approving relevant deliverables and vendor documents.
- Leading input hazard studies, relief and blowdown studies, area classification reviews, and LOPA reviews.
- Commissioning new equipment installed as part of projects to deliver beneficial operation.
- Delivering plant optimisation projects to reduce operating costs and increase plant output.
- Providing technical expertise to the operations team for troubleshooting and continuous improvement of site operations.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Engineer with a degree in Chemical Engineering. You will have proven experience delivering major capital projects on COMAH regulated plants and significant knowledge of Plant Safety, including hazard studies, functional safety, DSEAR, and pressure relief.
