Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver specialist psychological services within the Integrated Drug and Alcohol Service. We are seeking a suitably qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to support the continued development of our services.

About the Role:

The post holder will provide a specialist clinical psychology service for adults who present with problematic drug and/or alcohol use and co-occurring mental health difficulties. This will involve working in a multi-disciplinary team to offer highly specialist psychological therapies to those presenting with complex mental health presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist clinical psychology services to adults with problematic drug and/or alcohol use and co-occurring mental health difficulties.
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team to offer highly specialist psychological therapies.
  • Support the continued development of specialist psychological services within the Integrated Drug and Alcohol Service.
  • Collaborate with the Consultant Clinical Psychologist for Grampian Integrated Drug and Alcohol Psychology Service and Consultant Professional Lead in the Specialisms Directorate.

Requirements:

  • HCPC recognised post-grad (Doctorate) qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • HCPC Registration as a registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
  • Suitable experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams and offering highly specialist psychological therapies.
