Theatre Practitioner Role

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our PACU Team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleAs a Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the post-operative phase of their treatment. You will work closely with the anaesthetist and surgeon to plan and deliver patient care, ensuring the safe and effective recovery of patients.
Main Responsibilities- Provide patient-focused care in the post-anaesthetic care unit
- Assess and manage patient pain and discomfort
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient operating theatre environment
- Registered Nurse or ODP with relevant experience
- Good knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Teaching qualification
- Previous work experience in a PACU environment
- Knowledge of operative procedures
