About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our PACU Team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. As a Theatre Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in the post-operative phase of their treatment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver patient care in the post-anaesthetic care unit, working closely with anaesthetists and surgeons to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Assess and manage pain relief, physical and psychological support, and surgical and physiological considerations for recovering patients.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient-focused care, promoting a safe and supportive environment.

Requirements
  • RGN or HCPC registered Practitioner
  • Past work experience in a PACU or similar setting
  • Good knowledge of anatomy and physiology
