Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and contribute to our continued success in delivering exceptional engineering services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design teams in the creation of detailed design engineering solutions, drawings, and specifications for slope stability, earthworks, and retaining structures, particularly in the rail environment.
  • Design and analyze various structures across a diverse range of projects, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
  • Manage design teams and deliver projects from conception to completion, prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in structural engineering design, preferably within a consultancy environment.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing design teams and delivering projects.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
