Removals Fleet Manager Opportunity

Red Recruits is seeking a highly skilled Removals Fleet Manager to join our team. Our client, a leading provider of high-quality moving, storage, and relocation services, is looking for an experienced professional to assist in achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fleet Management: Serve as the primary contact for all fleet-related issues, ensuring the smooth operation of the fleet and resolving any concerns that may arise.
  • Legislation Compliance: Ensure the fleet operates within legal and regulatory standards, maintaining a high level of compliance and minimizing the risk of non-compliance.
  • Policy Implementation: Assist in drafting and enforcing fleet operation policies, ensuring that all team members are aware of and adhere to these policies.
  • Budget Monitoring: Monitor and control fleet costs, ensuring that they stay within budget and making recommendations for cost savings where possible.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Transport Law Knowledge: Strong understanding of road transport law and legislation, including knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Computer Literacy: Strong skills in MS Office, including proficiency in spreadsheet software.
  • Fleet Operation: Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for fleet operations, ensuring that the fleet is operating efficiently and effectively.
