Job Title: QC Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QC Technician to join our team at SRG.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting general maintenance and lab safety activities, supporting the planning, execution, and reporting of laboratory work and experiments, and working as part of the product development team to ensure a safe and efficient laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting general maintenance and lab safety activities, including equipment maintenance, consumable orders, receipt of material, lab stocking, and housekeeping.
  • Supporting the planning, execution, and reporting of laboratory work and experiments.
  • Working as part of the product development team to ensure a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
  • Performing DNA extraction using manual extraction kits and automated instruments, and PCR manual setup and automated instruments.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Biological Sciences or equally matched experience working within a laboratory.
  • Proficient in MS Office packages, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Laboratory experience in a regulated environment is desirable.
