Our client is in search of a skilled 3-5PQE legal advisor to enhance their legal department. This role presents a unique chance to engage in a wide array of responsibilities, encompassing fund operations, commercial agreements, and general advisory services within the investment management sector.
The legal team supports a variety of clients, including sovereign entities, pension funds, corporations, and other prestigious institutions across alternative and private asset classes. As a vital legal consultant, you will focus on the EMEA region.
The firm is eager to welcome a proactive lawyer with a solid background in fiduciary services and comprehensive experience in investment management agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing legal guidance on customized structures, including fund vehicles and liability-driven insurance.
- Drafting and advising on investment management agreements and mandates.
- Addressing legal and compliance matters in accordance with local regulations and client obligations.
- Offering insights on regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II, AIFMD, UCITS, and Solvency II.
Candidate Profile
- 3-5PQE legal professional (preferably trained in England and Wales)
- Experience in fiduciary services
- Strong understanding of the investment management landscape
- Familiarity with investment management agreements
- Experience in insurance or pensions is advantageous but not mandatory
