  • This role involves building a wide network of stakeholders of varying levels of seniority, honing your existing technical skills, and advancing your career.
  • You will be working within a feature team, using your extensive experience to engineer software, scripts, and tools that are often complex, and liaising with other engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

In your new role, you will be responsible for:

  • Engineering and maintaining innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions.
  • Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality, which adds value to the business.
  • Working in permanent teams responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning.

  • Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment, and operations.

Requirements:

  • A background in software engineering, with solid Android native app development using tools such as Android SDK, Junit, Android Studio, and various Android libraries such as OKHttp, Retrofit, Dagger, Hilt, and Coroutines.
  • Expert-level knowledge and proficiency working with Jetpack Compose, which is essential for this role.
  • Experience of working with Kotlin programming language.
  • A strong working knowledge of coding patterns including MVVM, Clean Architecture, Repository, and Builder.
  • A background in various types of testing: TDD, unit testing, Espresso, and Robolectric.
  • Expert-level knowledge with RESTful web services development.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.
