About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Business Analyst to join our team at Irwin Mitchell LLP. As a Data Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between data analytics and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Analysis and Insights: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and objectives. Conduct in-depth analysis of complex data sets, utilizing various tools and techniques.
  2. Data Visualization and Reporting: Identify trends, patterns, and insights within the data and present findings to stakeholders. Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making processes.
  3. Data Integrity and Quality: Ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy throughout the analysis process. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and business intelligence.
  4. Business Partnership: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and objectives. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support business strategies.
Requirements
  1. Proficiency in Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.).
  2. Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
  3. Business Acumen: An understanding of business operations and the ability to investigate complex data lineage and translate this to actions.
  4. Experience and Education: Proven experience as a Data Business Analyst or similar role. Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
