Support Worker - Forfar, Angus

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Support Worker in Forfar, Angus. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users to live independently and make their own choices.

The Role:

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support with daily living tasks, such as medication administration, personal care, and household tasks. You will also support our service users to access the community and participate in social activities, such as fishing trips, go-karting, and football.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support with daily living tasks, including medication administration and personal care
  • Support service users to access the community and participate in social activities
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a consistent approach to support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a support worker role is desirable, but not essential
  • Ability to follow detailed support plans and work collaboratively with the team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Warm, approachable, and friendly manner
