Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

Cbwstaffingsolutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a commercial building located in Stratford, London. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Maintenance: Perform electrical maintenance tasks, including lighting installation, fault-finding, and repair.
  • Emergency Lighting: Ensure that emergency lighting systems are functioning properly and make any necessary repairs.
  • Air Conditioning and Heating Systems: Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning and heating systems, including filter changes and cleaning.
  • Chillers and Cooling Systems: Monitor and maintain chillers and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Water Treatment Systems: Perform routine maintenance on water treatment systems, including temperature checks and dosing.
  • Plumbing and Pumps: Perform routine maintenance on plumbing and pump systems, including unblocking toilets and replacing faulty pumps.
  • BMS Systems and UPS Systems: Monitor and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Electrically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 and 17/18th edition.
  • Experience: Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work with clients.
  • Availability: Immediately available or able to start at short notice.

Working Hours and Rate:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm (rotating weekly).
  • Rate: £24 per hour.
  • Salary: £44-46k per annum (dependent on experience).
