Cbwstaffingsolutions is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance tasks in a commercial building setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, including lighting installation, fault-finding, and repair.
- Emergency Lighting: Ensure that emergency lighting systems are functioning properly and meet regulatory requirements.
- Air Conditioning and Heating Systems: Perform maintenance tasks on air handling units, fan coil units, and chillers, including filter changes and cleaning.
- Plumbing and Water Treatment: Perform routine plumbing maintenance tasks, including unblocking toilets and checking water treatment systems.
- Pumps and Motors: Perform maintenance tasks on pumps and motors, including lubrication and replacement.
- BMS System Monitoring: Monitor building management systems (BMS) to ensure that temperature and other parameters are within acceptable ranges.
- UPS System Monitoring: Monitor uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems to ensure that they are functioning properly.
Requirements:
- Electrical Qualifications: Hold City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 electrical qualifications and 17th/18th edition certification.
- Trade Certificates: Be able to provide copies of trade certificates.
- Commercial Building Maintenance Experience: Have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
- Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills and be able to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
- Availability: Be immediately available or able to start at short notice.
Working Hours and Rate:
- Monday to Friday: Work a standard Monday to Friday schedule.
- Hours of Work: Work 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm, with a weekly rotating schedule.
- Rate: Earn £24 per hour.
- Salary: Salary offered £44-46k DOE.
