Position Overview

As a Lead Safety Assurance Engineer, you will engage in a distinctive role that emphasizes safety engineering within Land Systems. Your expertise will be pivotal in providing safety engineering insights and guidance to both external and internal stakeholders, contributing to the advancement of business initiatives. Utilizing your analytical skills, you will assess evidence to substantiate safety arguments and deliver essential artifacts in support of client projects. Proficiency in safety engineering methodologies and exceptional report writing capabilities are crucial for successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee safety projects to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant delivery of tasks.
  • Facilitate the development of solutions that are defensible, auditable, and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Assist in providing accurate time estimates and language for bid submissions.
  • Ensure adherence to QinetiQ Compliance Procedures in all performed work.
  • Identify and nurture potential business opportunities within existing and prospective client bases.
  • Foster effective technical networks with Land Systems clientele.

This is a full-time role with a hybrid working arrangement.
