Electrical Engineering Trainer Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Trainer to join our team at MTC Operations Limited. As an Electrical Engineering Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to apprentices and learners in the field of electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs in electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Manage and maintain physical learning resources and teaching spaces to ensure effective training and assessment.
  • Create and update learning content to meet the needs of apprentices and learners.
  • Coordinate the integration of industry training offers into the apprenticeship scheme of work.
  • Monitor the learning environment and ensure learner safety and wellbeing.
  • Support learners in achieving their apprenticeship goals and provide regular feedback and guidance.

Requirements:

  • High level of electrical engineering knowledge and experience in delivering technical training.
  • Industry-related qualifications such as HND or NVQs.
  • 18th Edition qualification for delivering industrial electrical engineering.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 or GCSEs in Maths and English.
  • CAVA or equivalent assessor qualifications desirable.
  • Recognised Training/Teaching Qualification desirable.
  • Internal Quality Assurance qualifications desirable.
