Principal Process Safety Specialist

iO Associates, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled Principal Process Safety Engineer to join their Nuclear and Power team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects in highly regulated industries, both in the UK and globally.
As a Principal Process Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical safety expertise across the project life cycle, from feasibility to commissioning. You will work closely with clients to deliver projects, either in-house or via secondment, and take the lead on challenging process safety-related project issues.
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting multidiscipline hazard workshops, such as HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, and bowtie analysis. They will also have knowledge of consequence analysis, including fire, toxics, and explosion risk assessments, and be confident in conducting DSEAR risk assessments.
The company offers a competitive salary between £75,000-£85,000, along with benefits including 25 days holiday, 3% ER/ 6% EE pension, and private medical insurance. If you meet the criteria and are interested in this role, please get in touch to learn more.
