AJS Control and Automation is dedicated to nurturing homegrown talent. We are seeking a motivated Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to embark on our comprehensive development programme.

Your background in electrical or automated systems will serve as a strong foundation for your journey. As a Graduate Design Engineer, you'll gain invaluable experience by learning about and acquiring all essential documentation for our projects and control panel manufacturing processes.

You'll also develop the skills to design and create Control Panel Layouts and schematic drawings.

Your Development Journey:
  • Mastering Eplan software
  • Gaining a deep understanding of Functional Safety and Safety Circuits
  • Comprehending Control Panel Components and their functions
  • Producing Documentation and Declarations for Approval
Initial Responsibilities:
  • Creating Parts Ordering Lists and procuring materials
  • Generating and printing all Control Panel Amenities, such as Labels and diagrams
  • Obtaining Part Declarations and Specification sheets
  • Producing Operating Manuals and Documentation
Progression to Advanced Roles:
  • Designing and producing Control Panel Schematics
  • Conducting Designer Risk Assessments
  • Creating Site Layout Drawings and performing Cable Calculations
  • Generating Load Lists and I/O Lists

This role is ideal for individuals with an HNC or HND in Electrical or Engineering, seeking their first step into the world of Control Systems, Automation, and Engineering.
