Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Opportunity

Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their team in Kent.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of JCT Design & Build Contracts and the ability to produce cost plans from drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of cost plans and estimates for residential projects
  2. Tendering of large sub-contract packages
  3. Cost comparison and sub-contractor selection
  4. Cost control and preparation of periodic financial reconciliations, reports, and forecasts
  5. Negotiation with contractors
  6. Reviewing and analysing contractors' tender submissions
  7. Value engineering
  8. Tendering
  9. Estimating from RIBA stage 0 initial concepts through to RIBA stage 5
