We are seeking an experienced Wood Machinist to join our team at Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd. as a CNC Wood Machinist. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a 5-axis CNC machine to regrind carbide tooling, working alongside a team of Machinists to ensure production targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a 5-axis CNC machine to regrind carbide tooling
- Use various inspection equipment to ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances
- Work alongside a team of Machinists to achieve production targets
- Scope to learn advanced machining skills, such as programming
- Experience in CNC machining, preferably with a background in woodworking
- Ability to work a rotating shift pattern, including days and nights
- Flexibility to work with short machining cycles and multiple machines
- Eye for detail and inspection experience
- Competitive salary with 25% shift premium
- 22 days holiday + bank holidays
- Scope for overtime at 1.5 hourly rate
