Job Title: Primary School Teacher - Early Years/KS1

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Primary School Teacher to join our dynamic team at Destination Education. As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the curriculum, ensuring the academic progress of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of learners
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and values diversity
  • Assess student learning through various formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents/guardians, and the wider school community through effective communication and involvement in school events and activities
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods, technology, and resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes

Requirements:

  • Hold a QTS certificate (or the PGCE equivalent)
  • Experience teaching primary school students, preferably in Early Years/KS1
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS/KS1 curriculum
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for continuous learning
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and create a supportive learning environment
