As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of students, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching the Key Stage 1 curriculum to groups of students while also focusing on each individual student's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
  • Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
  • Keeping track of students' progress and occasionally reporting back to parents
  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Good behaviour management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Enhanced DBS check and professional references
