Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As a Senior Intensive Care Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses in our Intensive Care Unit, providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of nurses in the Intensive Care Unit, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure the unit is running efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure the unit is meeting the highest standards of care.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of new staff members to ensure the team is well-equipped to provide high-quality care.
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin
- Recognise post-graduate Critical Care Course (60 credits)
- Cardiac, Neuro or General ITU experience
