Rethink Mental Illness is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to lead creative peer support sessions at our John Hall Wellness Garden in Leek, Staffordshire Moorlands.

As a Volunteer Peer Support Lead, you will play a vital role in fostering a supportive and engaging environment for participants. You will facilitate group activities centered around your expertise in areas such as art, crafts, textiles, or creative writing, empowering individuals to connect, learn, and grow together.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide peer support sessions based on your chosen skill set.
  • Provide instruction, encouragement, and support to participants.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that fosters creativity and personal expression.
  • Collaborate with other volunteers and staff members to ensure the smooth running of the program.
