Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Research Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Catheter Suite at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and management for the Cardiac Catheter Suite patient provision, ensuring the highest possible quality care is delivered within the suite and that it meets the expectations of individual patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide 24 hours continuing responsibility for the Cardiac Catheter Suite.
  • Lead and manage a professional team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • RGN Level one
  • NMC registered
  • Completed national PEAP programme for practice supervisors or equivalent teaching and assessing qualification.
  • First degree or evidence of working towards one.
  • Non-Medical Prescribing or willingness to undertake.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Extensive post-registration cardiology experience.
  • Experience at Band 6 within a Cath lab or equivalent level experience.
  • Leadership qualification.
  • Specialist training relevant to role.
