Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate patient appointments using our clinical system, ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff.
  • Handle incoming calls, address patient queries, and provide information in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including updating patient records, processing paperwork, and prescription requests.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff, fostering clear and effective communication.

Person Specification:

  • Essential:
    • Experience working in Primary Care/NHS
    • IT Literate
    • Understand and demonstrate excellent Customer Service
    • Understand the role and function of administration within a GP surgery
  • Desirable:
    • Previously worked in a GP surgery and familiarity with reception and administrative duties
    • Previously used EMIS Web
