The GP Suite is a dynamic healthcare organization dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and providing a positive experience for our patients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate patient appointments using our clinical system, ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff.
- Handle incoming calls, address patient queries, and provide information in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including updating patient records, processing paperwork, and prescription requests.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff, fostering clear and effective communication.
- Address and resolve patient concerns and issues promptly and courteously.
Person Specification:
- Essential:
- Experience working in Primary Care/NHS
- IT Literate
- Understand and demonstrate excellent Customer Service
- Understand the role and function of administration within a GP surgery
- Desirable:
- Previously worked in a GP surgery and familiarity with reception and administrative duties
- Previously used EMIS Web
