Senior Paraplanner Opportunity

Mbf is working with an established Independent Financial Planning organisation to recruit an experienced Paraplanner. Role Overview

We are seeking a Paraplanner to join their growing technical team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in handling complex cases, working closely with both clients and financial planners to deliver exceptional financial planning solutions. As a senior member of the paraplanning team, you will bring your expertise and experience to mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with financial planners to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth clients.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, recommendations, and presentations for clients, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing ongoing support to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of financial documentation and client files, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance the quality of financial planning solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior paraplanners, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a paraplanning role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality financial planning solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning principles, investment strategies, and tax planning, with a focus on high-net-worth clients.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software and tools, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Relevant financial planning qualifications, such as the Diploma in Financial Planning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships with clients.
