Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Support Professional to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. As a key member of our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) department, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and management of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with classroom instruction and provide support and guidance to students, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain a well-organized and clean classroom, promoting a positive and productive atmosphere.
  • Design and implement a classroom system to track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Supervise students during non-classroom time, arranging engaging recreational activities that promote socialization and teamwork.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers to identify student needs and develop targeted solutions, ensuring academic progress and well-being.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions, as well as parent-teacher conferences, to stay informed and contribute to the school community.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a school or educational setting, with a strong understanding of EYFS principles and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Great collaboration and teamwork skills, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in educational software and technology.
  • A positive, empathetic, and loving attitude, with a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
