Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Hand Therapist to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd. As a leading recruitment agency, we are committed to providing high-quality staffing solutions to our clients in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with hand and wrist injuries or conditions
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Conduct hand and wrist X-rays and interpret results
- Provide education and training to patients and caregivers on hand therapy techniques
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy
- Recent NHS experience
- Registered with the HCPC
- Clinical experience in hand therapy – assessment, splinting and modalities
- Experience in interpreting hand and wrist X-rays
- Car driver (preferred)
