About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHSFT. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership in the field of oncology, assessing and treating patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership in oncology, assessing and treating patients with low to highly complex needs.
  • Support junior staff members in treating oncology patients and develop the Physiotherapy service to meet their needs.
  • Lead in the development of specialist services, supervision of junior staff, and student education.
  • Work closely with the Physiotherapy Team Leader to develop the Physiotherapy service.

Requirements
  • Significant post-registration experience in clinical areas relevant to this post, such as Respiratory, Neurology, and Surgical/Medical.
  • Relevant and recent experience in oncology.
  • Leadership and service development experience.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Postgraduate study or equivalent experience.
