Chef - Part-Time Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Beaumont Care Homes. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and catering to the dietary needs of our residents.
In the absence of the Cook Manager, you will lead and motivate a team of kitchen colleagues to deliver exceptional catering services. This will involve planning and delivering set menus, monitoring and replenishing kitchen and food stocks, and maintaining records of the same.
You will also be responsible for ensuring high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food preparation are maintained at all times. This will include checking and receiving deliveries, and taking responsibility for stock taking, stock rotation, and storage of stock.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be an experienced and capable Cook, able to work under your own initiative and in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be polite and courteous, energetic and outgoing, and a team player who engages well with others.
