About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at beBee Professionals in Newtownabbey, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
  • Supervise the kitchen team, ensuring smooth operation during service and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen procedures to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene according to health and safety regulations.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, with a strong track record of kitchen management and team leadership.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations, kitchen hygiene, and culinary best practices.
  • Creativity, passion for cooking, and a commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
