Job Title: Executive Chef Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Leader to join our team at Wagamama. As a key member of our restaurant leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a high-performing kitchen team to ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • Develop and implement kitchen operations strategies to drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create menus, manage inventory, and control costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to achieve their full potential.
  • Monitor and analyze kitchen performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef or kitchen manager in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, knowledge of food safety, and health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business growth and improvement.
