Clinical Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Patient Safety team and promote effective risk management across the organisation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the risk and patient safety investigations team.
Main Duties of the JobAs a senior member of our Patient Safety team, you will be responsible for leading, promoting, and facilitating effective risk management and assurance across all areas of the organisation. You will provide a combination of subject matter expertise, particularly relating to risk, incident management, assessing and monitoring assurance, and hold management skills to develop and maintain strong performance.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will be accountable for the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Trust's Risk Management Policy as well as trust policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient incident investigation and learning from deaths. You will work with Care Group Safety and Quality leads across the organisation to enable the Trust to demonstrate its compliance with national policies and standards.
RequirementsWe are looking for an experienced professional (Registered Nurse/Midwife or Health professional / or specialist qualification in Health and Safety and Risk Management), who is educated to Masters level (or equivalent) with a proven track record of service management at a senior level, preferably with healthcare acute hospital experience.
