Technical Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join our team in Devon. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our housing developments, ensuring that our projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the design process from planning application stage to project completion
  • Recommend and appoint external consultants as needed
  • Ensure that external consultant designs are built correctly in accordance with the design, budget, and quality standards
  • Provide technical support to operational teams to progress sites in line with the build programme
  • Support the development of technical specifications and standards for our housing developments
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in new build residential development, ideally with a volume developer or housing contractor
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction methods and materials
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in delivering complex projects, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
