Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Customer Account Representative to join our team at the Graduate Recruitment Bureau. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our existing retail customers, driving sales growth, and launching new brands.
About the Role:
This is a field-based sales and account management role that requires a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for:
- Meeting with existing retail customers to discuss sales strategies and product offerings
- Driving sales growth through effective negotiation, objection handling, and information gathering
- Attending customer meetings in stores, including independent retailers and retail chains, to launch new brands and educate point-of-sale staff
- Ensuring product availability and range by working closely with retailers and point-of-sale staff
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £34,000, reviewed annually, as well as a company car and fuel card. You will also be eligible for an annual company bonus of up to 10% of salary, a sales bonus scheme of up to £4,500 per year, and £2,000 of annual allowances, including a daily food budget. Additionally, you will receive 16% non-contributory pension, worth £5,600 per year, and an amazing flexible benefits package, worth £500 per year.
Requirements:
- A driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Desire to succeed in a sales and account management role
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent time management and planning skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to daily targets
- Great at building relationships with customers and colleagues
- Happy to travel with regular stays away from home
