We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Kier Group. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and budgeting.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including commercial, programme controls, engineering, and others, to deliver projects.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Identify and mitigate project risks, and make informed decisions to ensure project success.
- Communication and Reporting: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including regular progress reports and updates.
- Experience: Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction or civil engineering industry.
- Qualifications: Chartered status or equivalent, such as APMP or PRINCE2.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards, as well as excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
