Role Overview:


We are seeking an Internal Auditor to assist in the execution of a comprehensive Internal Audit function. This role encompasses various domains including contractual and partnership assessments, information governance, project management, and corporate risk management.

The successful candidate will evaluate and report on the efficacy of internal controls, contributing to the optimal and secure utilization of resources.

Additionally, the role involves providing expert advice to the organization and its partners on internal control matters.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Conduct a variety of audits, including risk-based assessments and reviews of key financial systems, as outlined in the annual Audit Plan sanctioned by the Audit Committee.

2. Generate reports detailing the effectiveness of controls in mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies.

3. Propose actionable recommendations and collaborate with management to address identified control deficiencies or compliance issues.

4. Respond to management inquiries for audit insights related to organizational activities, including projects, procurement, and operational efficiencies.

5. Undertake special investigations, including whistleblower reviews, as required by management.

6. Supervise and perform peer reviews as necessary for individual audits.

7. Stay informed on changes within the organization, audit methodologies, and advancements in technology.

8. Represent the Head of Internal Audit or Principal Auditor in external and internal forums concerning audit-related matters.

Qualifications:
Prior experience in internal auditing, accounting, or similar fields is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in audit software and tools.
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
Relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
