About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Lead for Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) services. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people who require support with communication and learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on Occupational Therapy needs, working with a multi-disciplinary team to assess and support children and young people with complex needs.
  • Develop and deliver training courses to professionals who support children and young people with less complex needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure best practice in transdisciplinary working.
Requirements
  • Professional Occupational Therapy qualification and registration with the HCPC and RCOT.
  • Experience of supporting children and young people who use AAC and EAT for communication and learning.
  • Passion for meeting the needs of children and young people.
