About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Beechwood College, Sully. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with specialist mental healthcare needs, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in their chosen activities and interests, including community-based initiatives.
  • Coordinate and facilitate scheduled activities, ensuring that individuals attend appointments and engage in meaningful experiences.
  • Provide personal care and support, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain emotional well-being and mental health.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including incident reports and daily notes.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to support individuals with diverse communication needs.
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, or Challenging Behaviour.
  • Good basic comprehension of the English language, including literacy and numerical skills.
  • Ongoing commitment to personal development and training.
