Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Galliford Try Holdings plc. As a key member of our Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional service to our clients.

About the Role:
  • Monitor and maintain planned preventative maintenance schedules to ensure statutory compliance.
  • Complete reactive and planned maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support the management team with additional works, building repairs, and lifecycle maintenance.
  • Carry out electrical maintenance and repair tasks in clients' buildings, including minor works, repairs, and fault diagnosis.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical installation regulations and use appropriate materials.
  • Be fully conversant with all aspects of electrical installation works.
  • Liaise with other team members and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of works.
  • Complete all works to high quality standards and in a competent manner.
  • Update all tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Attend tool-box-talks, training, and meetings as required.
  • Act in accordance with Galliford Try's rules, policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
About You:
  • Hold an electrical qualification, such as the 17th Edition, as a minimum.
  • Have experience working in a facilities management or healthcare environment.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.
  • Clear a PVG Disclosure check.
  • Have a time-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
