Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Principal Physical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at IC Resources. As a key member of our team, you will lead and contribute to the physical design of advanced automotive integrated circuits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define physical design requirements and constraints for automotive integrated circuits.
  • Lead and participate in all aspects of physical design, including floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and power analysis.
  • Develop and optimize physical design methodologies to improve design quality and performance.
  • Perform design closure activities to meet performance, power, and area targets.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to project planning and execution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience on 7+ successful tapeouts.
  • Master's degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience working across the full RTL-GDS flow.
  • Power / IR drop analysis is beneficial but not essential.
  • Good understanding of timing requirements, clock tree generation.
  • Experience with DFT insertion techniques.
