IC Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Principal Physical Design Engineer to contribute to a dynamic team focused on developing cutting-edge automotive integrated circuits.

In this role, you will take ownership of the entire physical design process at both block and chip levels. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define design requirements and constraints for automotive ICs, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in all aspects of physical design, including floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and power analysis.
  • Develop and refine physical design methodologies to enhance design quality and performance.
  • Conduct design closure activities to achieve target performance, power consumption, and area requirements.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders and contribute to project planning and execution.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success with 7+ tapeouts.
  • Master's degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.
  • Extensive experience working across the full RTL-GDS flow.
  • Familiarity with power/IR drop analysis is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of timing requirements and clock tree generation techniques.
  • Experience with DFT insertion techniques.
