Job Summary:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our schools in the Hedge End area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in facilitating lesson delivery, supporting students, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver high-quality lessons and activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, following teacher directives.
  • Aid in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with students and support their social and emotional development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational setting.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
