Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage Complex Procurement Projects: You will lead and manage complex and strategic force procurement projects to meet customer requirements and timelines, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Manage Strategic Business Critical Contracts: You will manage strategic business critical contracts and establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers to share risks and benefits, ensuring that all contracts are compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Identify Collaborative Opportunities: You will identify collaborative opportunities for regional and national projects for increased efficiency and savings, working closely with customers and contract managers to ensure contract performance meets or exceeds expectations.
- Manage Performance of Direct and Indirect Reports: You will manage the performance of direct and indirect reports, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure that all team members are equipped to meet their roles and responsibilities.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous Experience in Managing High-Value Category Management and Procurement Efficiencies: You will have previous experience in managing high-value category management and procurement efficiencies, with a proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving procurement processes.
- Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Diploma & Full Corporate Membership (MCIPS) Level 6 Graduate Diploma: You will hold a Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Diploma & full corporate membership (MCIPS) Level 6 Graduate Diploma, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the procurement profession.
- Demonstrated Experience in Leading and Managing Complex Procurement Projects: You will have demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex procurement projects, with a proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
