About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tenant Engagement Manager to join our team at MYSHON. As a key member of our housing management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and guidance to our tenants, ensuring their needs are met and their quality of life is improved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and submit tenants' Housing Benefit applications online, obtaining a reference number as required.
  • Undergo Fire Risk Assessment training to conduct FRA inspections of properties managed by MYSHON.
  • Ensure re-lettings standards are achieved through post-works inspections as required.
  • Manage complaints and ensure they are dealt with positively and within an agreed timeframe.
  • Provide advice and support to tenants on neighbour disputes, harassment, anti-social behaviour, and other housing-related occupancy issues.
  • Manage the day-to-day maintenance and repairs of all accommodations managed in your region.
  • Review the cyclical and planned maintenance programme with the housing director, ensuring work is carried out to specification.
  • Ensure health and safety information is available for all fire, gas, and electrical appliances in the homes.
  • Identify and provide appropriate accommodations for vulnerable adults as requested by the Managing Director.
  • Respond sensitively and appropriately to telephone enquiries and pass on messages to the appropriate person where necessary.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Housing Management, including property maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Housing Legislation and Licence Agreements.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with vulnerable adults.
