Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking experienced Learning Disability Support Workers to join our team in Llandovery. Our award-winning service provides bespoke specialist care for adults with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.

About the Role:

As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will provide therapeutic care and support to residents, helping them progress through a care pathway to live as independently as possible. You will work closely with a team of multi-professionals to ensure the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and support to residents with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks and promote independence
  • Monitor and record patient conditions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months experience of working within a social care setting
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities
