Job Title: Business and Digital Support Officer

We are seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to join our team at the NHS, working within the OPMH Community Mental Health Team for Teignbridge, Newton Abbot.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality administrative support to enable the provision of the best possible care to service-users. As a Business Support Officer, you will work as part of an administrative team, ensuring effective, service-user focused administration systems are in place and supporting clinical staff to deliver our service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering the telephone and liaising with service users, their families, and other professionals
  • Typing and formatting of assessments and all letters
  • Managing appointments and clinic schedules
  • Data entry using an electronic patient record (Systmone)
  • Using Microsoft packages daily and working from a shared email inbox
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GCSE English or equivalent
  • Evidence of continuing professional and personal development
  • ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)
  • Disclosure and Barring Service Check
